Contrary to belief, loofah is a vegetable, not a sea sponge. The loofah used in our scrubber is grown and processed in Paraguay, by farmers and Indians trained and certified to organically grow loofah products. The loofah is certified USDA Organic. Because of the longer and finer textured fibers that resist wear, Bon Ami Organic kittchen scrubbers are strong, resilient and pliable.  Gentle enough to scrub fruits and vegetables. Tough enough to clean dirty dishes and stubborn pots and pans. Does not contain cleanser. Measures approximately 5 X 5.
